Fall Break is almost here. There will be no school Thursday, October 8, Friday, October 9, or Monday, October 12.

We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend, gets some rest, has some fun, and maybe makes a trip to the State Fair. We’ll see everyone back at school after the break.

October has a lot going on at Rosemont, but there are a few important differences depending on your student’s grade level.

Rosemont Primary and Rosemont Upper Campus do not always follow the exact same dress guidelines, so make sure you’re following the information for your child’s grade.

For designated Free Shirt Wednesdays, students must have already paid the $20 fee to participate:

PK–5: School-appropriate T-shirt with uniform bottoms
6–8: School-appropriate T-shirt with jeans

Free Shirt Wednesday is only on designated Wednesdays listed in the Community Calendar and Bison Stampede. Paying the fee does not make every Wednesday a Free Shirt Wednesday.

For the other October dress-up days, follow the specific instructions shown for each day. And remember, Character Day on October 30 is all about the Literary Character Parade, so students should dress as a character from a book and bring the book.

Save this post so you have the October dates handy!
