Cornerstone Christian Academy is excited to welcome Dave McCalman as the HS Physics, HS Personal Finance and JH STEM Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year!
Dave shares how God called him to CCA. “Serving at CCA has been a tremendous blessing and calling. Having had the privilege of being the home-teacher for two children from Pre-K through both junior high and high school under the guidance of CCA, the experience has deepened a passion for Christian education and discipleship. Over the past year, there has been a growing sense of calling to pray more intentionally for the students, parents, faculty, and administration of this amazing school community.
God has placed a desire on my heart to add to His kingdom by supporting the students of CCA—not only academically, but spiritually. My hope and prayer is to see each student choose a lifelong walk with Christ as their Savior and King. Through opportunities to serve in various substitute teaching roles, it has been a joy to get to know the incredible students of CCA and to witness firsthand how small moments—a kind word, a pause to instruct, a well-placed joke, a prayer, or remembering a struggle—can make a lasting impact on their faith journey.
I am grateful for the opportunity to join the full-time teaching staff in the coming year, I have great anticipation for what God will continue to do in the lives of these remarkable students as they grow in knowledge, character, and faith.”
