In the wild, some species of bonsai can grow as high as 32 feet. In captivity, the bonsai's ability to grow depends upon its weight and height in relation to the size of its container. There is an art to tending bonsai kept in small containers. The attendant must constantly be grooming, trimming, and reshaping to keep pace with the bonsai's innate desire to express itself fully and naturally.

So the question of value is this: would you prefer to be an attendant or a bonsai in the wild?

The answer to that question reveals how far you are willing to go to live as your True Self in this world.

Forgiveness does not mean letting people who took you for granted, abused, or otherwise mistreated you back into your life. In fact, it almost never means that (for anyone who will see this post).

Forgiveness is about one thing and one thing only: letting go of the hurt. It is an act of self-love that liberates us from stuck emotional energies that block our ability to enjoy healthy, kind, mutually supportive relationships. It is a choice to be free, once and for all.
