Celebrating my small wins πŸ₯Ήβœ¨

A shoutout in our school newsletter + positive feedback from my first observation. Some might see these as small, but for me, as a new teacher in the πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ still figuring things out, it’s a big push to keep going. πŸ’™

The Journey Starts Here ✨

Huge thanks to Dallas ISD for kicking off the 2025 New Teacher Academy (July 29–31) with a thoughtful welcome bag full of desk supplies, a laptop, backpack, and more. These essentials aren’t just gear, they’re a powerful reminder that the district is committed to our success from day one, helping new educators feel valued and ready for the adventure ahead.

From dreams we used to talk about in college to finally standing at the airport with our bags packed for the life we once only imagined.

Back in 2022, before we even graduated, my bestfriend and I would talk about wanting to work abroad. We weren’t sure how, when, or where, but we just knew we wanted more for ourselves. We'd joke around and say, "Sana makapunta tayo ng Canada or US," not knowing that those small conversations were already planting seeds.

Now it’s 2025. We’re not just dreaming anymore, we’re living it. One of us is in Hawaii, the other in Dallas, both chasing our dreams and making them real.

Manifestation really works, but it starts when you decide that you want a better life. When you believe deep in your heart that you deserve more, everything slowly starts falling into place. The right people, the right timing, the right opportunities β€” they all start showing up.

This journey wasn’t always easy. There were doubts, fears, and setbacks. But seeing where we are now, it’s all worth it. I’m just so proud of us, Teacher Tiff.

To anyone out there holding onto a dream, keep believing. You don’t have to see the whole path. Just take one step at a time with faith.

Little me would have loved who I've become, and in the end, that is all that really matters. πŸ«‚

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." β€” Jeremiah 29:11

Leaving home was harder than I expected. Saying goodbye to my family, my comfort zone, and the life I was used to was not easy.

Looking back, this journey took a lot of patience, courage, and prayer. There were moments when I doubted myself, when the process felt too long, and when I almost gave up. But God never left my side. He reminded me that His plans are greater than my worries and that His timing is always right.

Now, here I am. I am far from home, but closer than ever to the dream I once only dared to pray for. I feel nervous, but more than that, I feel thankful. I carry with me the love of my family, the strength of my faith, and the pride of being a Filipino teacher.

This is not a goodbye. It is a beginning. It is a reminder that dreams do not work unless you do. That growth happens outside of our comfort zones. And that even when you are afraid, you keep going because your purpose is greater than your fear.

Please include me in your prayers as I begin this new chapter as a Special Education Teacher in Dallas. I may be far from home, but my heart will always carry where I came from. πŸ’™
