It doesn’t matter how many times you all go to lunch together or how many happy hours you attend with them. You and your co-workers are at that organization for either one of two things: to get a paycheck to pay bills or to work in a field for the experience so you can move forward in your career path.

💯 When the s**t hits the fan and at some point, in time it will, don’t expect these co-workers to have your back. Everybody is motivated by their own self-interest and that's just the truth.
