Kids recognize brands and logos far earlier than most parents realize.
That means the world is already teaching our children about money, spending, and consumerism every single day.
The question is:
Are we teaching them intentionally, too? 💭

Giving kids a financial education is not about making them rich.
It’s about giving them the tools they need to successfully navigate the world around them.
Money is not the most important thing in life…
But in many ways, it’s a lot like oxygen.
We need it to take care of the things we want…
and the things we truly NEED. ❤️

To truly learn about money, kids need to have money.
But simply giving them money isn’t enough — they need opportunities to earn it.
Kids spend money very differently when it’s their own.
Earning money early helps teach responsibility, confidence, and the value of hard work.

Most kids are taught how to SPEND money…
But very few are taught how to EARN it.
And earning changes everything.
💡 Earning builds confidence
💡 Earning teaches effort = reward
💡 Earning creates respect for money
A child who works for their money thinks differently about money.
That lesson can start as early as helping around the house…
Then grow into pet sitting, babysitting, lawn care, small businesses, summer jobs & more as they get older.
This month inside Kidz Money Lab, we’re diving into REAL ways kids of ALL ages can begin earning money in age-appropriate ways 💵
Because raising money-smart kids starts long before their first paycheck.
