UPDATE: After speaking to Godard repair yesterday the Truth in Textbooks site is back up and operating. They were unsure of why it was not operating but all appears to be normal.

We are taking steps to minimize future shutdowns and thank those who have tried to contact us or visit the website to share the word email is well.

ANNOUNCEMENT: The Truth in Textbooks website is currently down and has been down since early June. Was notified by the Webmaster today that it appears GoDaddy who the site's URL is managed with, has chosen to take our website down.

"History is complicated. People don’t act as preprogrammed members of racial, ethnic, or class groups. At times, individuals act nobly; on other occasions, sometimes terribly, and all in situations often far different from ours. Some people participate in mobs; others help the victims of mobs. So, no, eliminating critical race theory and the 1619 Project would not preclude teaching black history. On the contrary, it would allow a multifaceted, honest, and truthful history to be told."

Eliminating critical race theory and the 1619 Project wouldn't preclude teaching black history, but allow a full, complex, and truthful history to be told.
