⠀⠀
I know OJ is the most popular, but what do you put in your mimosas? I personally love lingonberry!

“Alternative” guestbooks have become all the rage recently. I’ve seen photo mats, scrapbooks, dictionaries, bibles, polaroids, wine bottles, wooden hearts, signed art work, corks, jenga, thumbprint art....you name it!

What’s your favorite season?! Comment below. For me...it’s fall., and this picture hits the nail on the head. The rosemary. The copper lettering. The intricate charger. It’s all coming together to give me serious pumpkin spice autumn vibes.
⠀⠀
I love the fall. Growing up in Southern California, we didn’t have much in the way of seasons. When I went to Ohio for college (shoutout to ), I got to see the real splendor of autumn up close and personal for the first time, and since then I’ve felt like that quote form Anne of Green Gables really encapsulates my feelings on the subject...”I’m so glad to live in a world where there are Octobers!”

Paul’s words to the people of Corinth aren’t just words to warm or center your wedding day. They’re a set of guidelines for our relationships with everyone, not just the romantic love we feel for our partners. It’s an advocation for discipline in our spiritual practices.
⠀⠀
Just something to remember when we hear or see these words on the wedding days of our friends and family...or your own wedding day!
I get lots of questions on how I write on wood to make it so opaque and stream-free. There are lots of good options, but my favorite pens (so far!) have been the white Elmer’s paint pens!! I like sharpies better for glass and acrylic and plastic, usually, but the Elmer’s on wood just looks great!!
⠀⠀
Remember, push down often to maintain flow, and slow and steady wins the race!! This video is sped up 2x!
⠀⠀
PS - sorry for the horrible angle.

There’s just something so special about an elopement, right? As a calligrapher, it’s so awesome to get to be a part of so many different special events, but to be asked to be part of an elopement (especially one where not even the friends and family of the couple know that it’s happening) is next-level!!

Another Game of Thrones-inspired custom wood sign for .daae as a gift for a friend who named her dog after the most badass girl who doesn’t need saving, Arya Stark!!

I’m often asked which pens I use on my wood signs. I like the water-based Sharpie Paint Pens, but my hands down favorite is the Elmer’s Paint Pen. It’s the most opaque, in my opinion!

How many choices do you look at before you’re overwhelmed with opportunity? Especially in wedding planning, it feels like there’s always another option, right? ⠀⠀
Thankfully, I don’t have that problem with juice for my mimosas. Or biscuits. Or muffins. How cute was this couples’ shower setup?!
