SHAKESPEARE AT THE MOUNTAIN VIEW FOUNTAIN plays THE TEMPEST one last time tonight, at 7:45 pm. Free to the public, all you need is a lawn chair, a cold bottle of water and some bug spray...we provide the popcorn...and the cicadas! Free parking is on the EAST (Knoxville Street) side of campus...meet you at the fountain!

It's the day of the show, y'all! Five years in the making (don't ask!), the MVC Theatre Department is proud to finally produce THE TEMPEST, tonight through Saturday, June 28 at 7:45 pm! Free family entertainment...and popcorn...meet you at the fountain!

The pennants are flying and the actors are emoting... so it must be outdoor Shakespeare time! Don't miss THE TEMPEST, directed by Samantha Grace, playing next Tuesday through Saturday, June 24-28 at dusk (about 7:45 pm!). Hi Big D Camp Broadway Families!

We are sad to announce we will not be able to hold camp this year due to unforseen circumstances. We are already looking at next year, with a possibly restructured program at a new location TBD.

We know this will disappoint the kids, and we are truly sorry for that. We’ve enjoyed seeing them grow each summer.

In the comments, we will share links for a couple of different area theater camps with which we have personal experience. Their programs are solid and they have dates available in July. So, if you’re trying to find something to fill those weeks, there’s options.

Shakespeare at the Mountain View Fountain is producing an outdoor production of THE TEMPEST, June 24-28. Directed by Samantha Grace, auditions are Tuesday, April 8 and Friday, April 11 from 6:30-9pm and Saturday, April 12 from 1-5pm in Room W-37 (west side of campus, 4849 W Illinois, Duncanville Rd. parking lot, enter W/H Bldg.). Cold readings from the script or dust off that old monologue, Shakespeare or not! Rehearsals begin May, 27 and we need actors, dancers, musicians and crew for this magical show on the Dallas College-Mountain View campus...see you at the fountain! Questions?
