Oak Lawn Community Center

The purpose of this page is to share information and photographs about the Oak Lawn Community Center located in the former Oak Lawn School in Marlow, Oklahoma.

The Oak Lawn School is located on a two acre plot purchased from the James Owens family; the first school building was built in 1908. The original wood frame building faced south, with a porch across the entrance. In 1914, the building was heavily damaged by a tornado, and was placed back onto a rock foundation.
