Ms. Jamie Thompson’s Memorial Service will be this Saturday, February 28th, 2026 at 11am at East Dallas Christian Church, 629 N Peak St, Dallas, TX 75246.

Dear Lumin Community,

It is with deep sorrow and heartbreak that we inform you that one of our Lumin Lindsley Park Community School teachers, Ms. Jamie Thompson, passed away yesterday after a sudden illness. We are in shock and disbelief.

Ms. Thompson was more than a teacher at Lumin LPCS. She was a friend, a colleague, a health and nutrition coach, and a dedicated member of our community. A memorial activity will be planned in the near future, and we will share details once they are finalized in coordination with Ms. Thompson’s family.

Please join us in keeping Ms. Thompson’s loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.

All Lumin programs and offices will be closed Friday, January 30th. Team members will participate in All-Staff Development Day.
