She attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ashlyn has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2009, a licensed Massage Therapy Instructor since 2010 and is also a Continuing Education Provider. As a therapist and an educator, Ashlyn specializes in Structural/Clinical Bodywork as well as applied sciences. DFW Bodywork Education is a forum to educate, inform and inspire.

Aloha Everyone!

I get asked all the time how I incorporate chiropractic care with massage therapy. For me, it’s one and the same. I am treating the whole system, the whole person. I am listening, watching, feeling and communicating with the person on my table and believe it or not most of it is non-verbal. I utilize specific soft tissue techniques along with muscle testing and focused chiropractic adjustments where it’s needed to remove systemic interference. The goal? To help facilitate the transition of a body in Dis-ease to a state of ease and harmony.

Aloha! Allow me to reintroduce myself...I am Dr. Ashlyn Russell, DC, LMT, MTI. 2023 has been a year to remember and I am opening my Chiropractic office Mālama Integrative Wellness and Chiropractic serving the residents of Hawaii County and the state of Hawai'i. There will be some exciting updates and announcements in the coming weeks as I prepare my next chapter in life. First one being converting this page over to my new practice.

To my patients, clients and students in the DFW area both past and present, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your support over the years. You have given me invaluable experiences and opportunities to serve. It has truly been my pleasure to call you friends and colleagues.
