Grateful to have worked with Mr. Mauricio for 7 of the 11 years I’ve taught high school math. A principal can truly make or break a teacher’s experience, and I’ve been lucky to work with the best.

He leads with trust instead of micromanagement, while always being present, supportive, and invested in both students and staff. He creates a campus culture where teachers wanted to stay and students have the perfect balance of structure, accountability, and fun.

I’ve learned so much from working alongside him and will miss him dearly as he retires this year. Thank you for your years of leadership, service, and support, Mr. Mauricio. Wishing you the very best in retirement — you’ve made a lasting impact on so many lives. 🐐 You are goated!

POV: Finishing year 19 in the classroom 🍎✨
Every year, we build a little family inside these four walls. The classroom comes alive with laughter, inside jokes, chaos, growth, and memories… then suddenly the desks are empty and it all goes quiet again.

Saying goodbye to the kids always tugs at my heart, but I’m choosing gratitude for all the moments we shared this year. So thankful for the laughs, the lessons, the growth, and for my teacher bestie right across the hall — my ride or die through it all 🤍

Now it’s time to rest, recharge, soak up summer, and get ready to welcome a brand new group of kids in August.

Year 19 ✔️ 5 more to go until retirement
Let’s go summertime ☀️🌻

Yesterday, my students wrote their future careers on their hands and shared the dreams they’re carrying into the world. From engineers to athletes, doctors to electricians … their possibilities are endless.

It’s been such an honor to help guide their hands, hearts, and minds this year. My wish for each of them is that their dreams stay big, their hearts stay kind, and they always believe in themselves. 🌎✨

May all your dreams come true, kids. 💛

Keep GLOWING, keep growing 🌱✨
End-of-year glow stick bracelets for my students as a reminder to shine bright in the world 🌎💛 We circled up, lit up, and captured a special moment together before summer.

We’re also filling the whiteboards with favorite quotes and words of inspiration to carry with us into the next chapter ✍️✨
