The Next Generation Action Network (NGAN) stands firmly against the Texas Education Agency’s takeover of Fort Worth ISD.

This is not about student outcomes it’s about money, power, and control. What’s being disguised as “reform” is a deliberate plan to privatize public education and silence the voices of Fort Worth families, teachers, and voters.

We’ve seen the chaos this created in Houston ISD where the state removed duly elected trustees and replaced them with political appointees. This is taxation without representation, and it’s unacceptable.

When the state removes the voice of the people from the table, that is not reform that’s corporate control,” said Minister Dominique Alexander, NGAN President and education advocate.

Public education belongs to the people not to private interests.
Fort Worth, be informed, be engaged, and don’t be silent.

We’re proud to be part of this moment.

Join NGAN Excel as we celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the John Lewis Social Justice Academy at O.W. Holmes a powerful investment in the future of our youth and our community.

This isn’t just a new school it’s a living tribute to Congressman John Lewis’ legacy of “Good Trouble.”
It’s a space built for the next generation of free thinkers, change-makers, and justice builders right here in District 5.

Florida is reportedly planning to mandate a vaccine in schools, but the most alarming part? This decision is being driven by individuals without medical or scientific backgrounds, including Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy.

We must call this out for what it is: irresponsible policymaking that puts our children’s health at risk.

🔍 Why This Matters:
• Public health decisions must be guided by science, not politics.
• Vaccine mandates without transparent data and expert input can erode trust in public health.
• Parents and communities deserve a voice in decisions that affect their children’s bodies and futures.
• We cannot afford another wave of misinformation and overreach wrapped in the guise of “health policy.”

Our children are not political experiments.

We must demand:
✅ Full medical and scientific transparency
✅ Community input before any mandates
✅ Evidence-based policy—not fear-driven decisions

📢 STAND UP. SPEAK OUT. Florida’s children deserve better.

📣 WE BUILT THIS FOR THE MOVEMENT.

For the past year and a half, the Next Generation Action Network has been laying the foundation for something bold — a state-of-the-art Digital Media Studio built by us and for us.

In an age where disinformation is a weapon and truth is often buried under clicks and algorithms, we knew we had to fight back. Our community deserves more than recycled headlines and filtered narratives. We needed our own platform to inform, mobilize, and organize.

💻🎙️ This is more than just cameras and microphones — it’s a digital command center for justice.

From livestreaming press conferences to producing sharp, rapid-response videos — we are taking control of our message, our movement, and our future. Because while hate and oppression have gone digital, so has our resistance.

Organizations like NGAN must evolve — and we’ve cut no corners. We've made a major investment in digital organizing infrastructure to meet this moment.

📲 But we can’t do this alone. Help us build, sustain, and amplify this work. Donate today and support a platform that speaks directly to the people.

In 2019, NGAN Excel, the education arm of the Next Generation Action Network, began hosting a series of meetings about schools in Oak Cliff, including the conversation to merge Elisha M. Peace Elementary and W.W. Bushman Elementary. Both schools were in the same neighborhood one was a B-rated campus and the other an ACE campus in need of additional help.

This vision faced years of pushback from those who said it would fail or that the school would be overcrowded. But today, that vision has become a success story. The newly named Albert C. Black STEAM Academy now serves over 900 students in a $45 million brand-new facility — and is proudly an A-rated campus.

NGAN Excel salutes the principal, staff, parents, and community for their dedication, and we thank Dallas ISD leadership for working with us to make this possible. We also want to recognize former trustee and now Dallas City Council member Maxie Johnson for his leadership and commitment in seeing this project through.

This is just one example of the impact NGAN Excel continues to make in education proving that when we come together, we can create opportunities and invest in the future of our students. The success of Albert C. Black STEAM Academy is a win for Oak Cliff and a win for 75216.
