Just to give a little perspective - our most recent data shows that we have 100 public school districts and charters in WDA 4 - North Central Texas spanning 14 counties that surround Dallas & Tarrant County. This includes 988 individual school campuses! We are so PROUD of Community ISD - they continue to go above and beyond to provide opportunities for ALL students!

Our NCTX Pathways Leadership Team along with economic development, educational staff, & Jobs for the Future were thrilled to host a strategic planning session at Forney Independent School District’s - Opportunity Central! This innovative CTE campus partners with local industry partners to provide hands-on work based learning experiences for students while serving the community in unique ways. This campus should serve as a model for other districts and a best practice guide for work based learning. Thank you FISD, Texas Education Agency Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Texas Workforce Commission Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas Texas A&M University-Commerce Collin College Texas State Technical College and everyone else who took the time out of their day to attend!

Our team is engaged in research and data analysis leading to a strategic plan including a North Central Texas (WDA 4 Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas) asset map and gap analysis provided to the tri-agency including Texas Workforce Commission , the Texas Education Agency, and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
