Earlier this year, students at Garland ISD had the opportunity to hear from Todd Haness, President of CMIT Solutions of Plano & Garland, through a guest speaker experience that helped connect learning to real workforce insight.

Moments like this help students build stronger connections between what they are learning now and the opportunities ahead of them. Hearing directly from professionals gives students clearer visibility into careers, expectations, and the workplace.

Our 8th grade team placed 3rd overall among 8th grade teams, and our 7th grade team placed 2nd overall among 7th grade teams.

These students have worked hard, challenged themselves, and represented AAE and Garland ISD with excellence on the national stage. We are so proud of their dedication, teamwork, and academic achievement!
