Some say that the day of the new moon solar eclipse is like a "reset" button for your life.

Having been "widowed" five months ago I have been on a journey of reinventing myself as a single woman, and it has been a huge challenge for me.

I lost important roles: partner, lover, best friend. Roles that were defining and meaningful to me. Roles that sustained me in vital ways.

Who am I now that those roles are gone?

I have a name, a career, roles as mother, daughter, grandmother, friend, and many more. And these all roles enrich my life and are part of my identity. I am grateful for them.

But I see that these roles do not define my essence.

In my deepest clarity I find am simply being in each moment.

I recognize a call to owning and living my unique expression of LOVE as it flows through me and out into the world.

May you find your own unique expression in the reset opportunity we have today!

Our culture has taught us that we have to work to survive, and to many of us that means showing up every day for a job we hate. And because we believe this, have been taught this, see evidence of this, it becomes our reality. It is such a challenge to shift into the "thrive" belief system which is completely fueled by unconditional love in all its expressions: joy, fulfillment, passion, play, creativity. What can you do today to shift from survival to thriving? Take an action, even a small step. Your life depends on it.
