SKATEBOARDING KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES OF AGE
At 88 years old, Juanjo Albizu from Bilbao, Spain, has become an inspiring figure in the skateboarding community. He took up the sport at age 70 as a more affordable alternative to snow sports and has since found it to be both a means of staying physically fit and a way to break the monotony of daily life. Albizu emphasizes the importance of safety, always wearing protective gear and meticulously preparing the skatepark before each session. His story challenges age-related stereotypes and highlights the benefits of staying active in later years.
