This afternoon, emergency medical personnel responded to Crandall High School after a student-athlete was injured during football practice at the PIT.

As part of the emergency response, a medical helicopter will land near the baseball fields to transport the student for further medical care. We understand the presence of emergency vehicles and a medical helicopter may cause concern, so we wanted to keep our families informed about the activity on campus.

Our thoughts are with the student and the student’s family. We ask our community to respect their privacy at this time.

It's a conversation starter and caffeine, all in one!

Walker Elementary's Gifted and Talented teacher Mr. Wilson has a Lego coffee mug that actually works. What a great way to start the day!

Our Biology students kicked off the year with an escape room challenge!

It was a great hands-on way for them to get to know their new classmates and practice problem-solving from day 1. 🙌

In this edition of The Murry Minute, Crandall ISD Superintendent Dr. AJ Murry celebrates a successful start to the school year, thanks families for their patience with back-to-school traffic, and highlights this year’s core message: "Every Pirate Every Day."

Tune in every two weeks on Sundays for regular district updates.

The Texas C went up before the students came back.

Workers mounted the first Texas C on the Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, while the second one waited for its turn on the main entrance side. We are still on track for a December opening.

Shoutout to A Sign of Quality for creating the logos and the Cumming-Gallagher group for mounting them.

Welcome back, Pirate Nation! 🏴‍☠️✨

We are so thrilled to have your kids back in our classrooms!

We know the first couple of days brought some traffic challenges due to normal first-week adjustments and the unexpected road closure on FM 148. Thank you for your patience – our campus staff and Transportation Department are working hard to get those arrival and dismissal routines ironed out and run as smoothly as possible.

In the meantime, enjoy a peek at Day 1 across 9 of our campuses (plus a shoutout to our incredible Food Services team)! 📸 👇
