This is Juan Botero! Juan is a drummer, singer, guitar player and songwriter that just graduated from Berklee College of Music. Juan grew up playing Rock, RnB, Soul on drums and then start playing guitar and singing in bands when he was in highschool. In Boston, Juan played over 300 shows with his own band and several other bands in the Boston area. With 7+ years of performance experience and 2+ years of teaching experience, Juan is ready to teach you all you need to know about music!

In joining the staff of long time musical educator Sarah Strout, I hope to expand the musical experiences of students and impart my joy of music.
Mr. Steven Brown has been an Instrumental educator in the Dallas Independent School District
for the last 27 years. In that time, he has served in writing instrumental curriculum for the district and served in various title 1 situations establishing and revitalizing programs.
A graduate of Florida A&M University and a Specialist Certificate holder in Jazz Arranging and Composition from Berklee College of Music he has performed as a jazz musician touring Europe and performing on the North Texas jazz scene as well most recently receiving a Grammy Certificate from his work on Kirk Franklins latest recording “Live Life Love”.

His experience connecting with students and providing the structure to elevate them in their musical goals is well established. From students looking to reinforce the fundamentals to serious players pursuing scholarship opportunities, a plan of study can be designed for your students personal goals.

He now serves on the board of “Trumpets for Kids” a non-profit organization founded by Dallas Cowboys trumpeter and long-time friend Freddie Jones dedicated to expanding the musical experience of students across North Texas.

Kaleigh Huser, fresh from Waco, TX to Dallas, is a graduate of Oklahoma City University (Go Stars!) She holds her Bachelor of Arts in Music for Voice. When she is not teaching, you can find her on the stage! Recent credits include Annabeth in LIGHTNING THIEF, Stepsister Grace in CINDERELLA (Waco Civic Theatre), Veronica in HEATHERS, Marta in COMPANY, Sonia in GODSPELL (Silent House Theatre), and Shulie in SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! with Heart of Texas Children's Theatre. She is so excited to educate some bright new musicians!

Felicity Mazur-Park is an English composer, pianist, and organist based in Texas. She has a B. M. from The Boston Conservatory, a M.Ed. from Tennessee State University, and a M.M. from Texas Christian University where she is studying towards her D.M.A. in Music Composition with a cognate in organ performance and is an instructor of record for music theory. She also teaches music theory at Dallas Baptist University and is the Director of Music at Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church in Fort Worth.

Felicity has been teaching private lessons to students ranging from 3 to 80 for over 15 years. She loves seeing her students grow as both musicians and humans over the course of their lessons and beyond.
