While this year’s annual Pecos trip ended a little earlier than planned because of nearby forest fires, the experience was no less meaningful. Through hiking, camping, and shared challenges, these young Marksmen from the Class of 2030 built resilience, strengthened lifelong friendships, and discovered more about themselves and one another.

Farewell, Class of 2026!
Before embarking on their college careers, St. Mark’s newest alumni returned to campus for a final celebration together. The boys enjoyed a meal in Graduate Hall, surrounded by the names of the preceding graduating classes going all the way back to 1907. After dinner, the boys gathered around for the reveal of Graduate Hall's newest addition: the names of all 110 members of the Class of 2026.

The St. Mark’s Choir recently returned from its 20th Biennial International Tour. The boys completed a residency at the historic Durham Cathedral and performed services at Westminster Abbey. Between practicing and performing, the choristers took in England's historic wonders and rich culture.

As St. Mark’s concludes its 120th anniversary celebration, we reflect on the enduring legacy of our predecessor schools: The Terrill School, Texas Country Day School, and The Cathedral School for Boys.

As you swipe through these photos spanning more than a century, imagine the world our earliest students knew. In 1906, Theodore Roosevelt was president, Dallas had less than 90,000 residents, horses outnumbered automobiles on the streets, and a first-class stamp cost 2 cents. Through world wars, the Space Age, the digital revolution, and countless milestones, one thing has remained constant: the School’s commitment to preparing young men for lives of character, leadership, and service.

Here's to 120 years of Brotherhood and to the generations of Marksmen still to come.

Upper School visual arts students and teachers recently spent a week immersed in artistic study across Tuscany, with each discipline pursuing its own creative focus.

–Photography students documented the streets, architecture, and people of Siena, Montepulciano, and Montalcino.
–Drawing and painting students filled sketchbooks with observational studies, painted cityscapes from rooftop terraces, and captured the changing landscapes of Tuscany.

A group of St. Mark’s teachers and administrators recently traveled to the other side of the world to attend the 2026 International Boys' School Coalition Annual Conference, hosted by St Stithians College in South Africa. The conference provided a space for educators from nearly 300 boys' schools worldwide to connect and learn from one another how best to educate boys in the modern world.

Several St. Mark’s faculty members presented to international colleagues, and Eugene McDermott Headmaster David W. Dini addressed the conference as Chair of the 2025-2026 IBSC Board of Trustees.
