A Mother's Prayer Academy believes that a child's first years are critical for laying the groundwork for future learning and personal development.
A Mother’s Prayer Academy provides a trustworthy, safe, warm, and positive environment in which children can thrive. We value and encourage each child's uniqueness and diversity. We also value each family's unique structure and recognize that parents are a child's first and most important teacher. Needless to say, we believe that a rich environment with positive reinforcement will have a significa

Are you concerned about your child?
If you’ve been scrolling through post after post looking for the right daycare, I just want to pause and say… I understand exactly how you feel. Choosing who cares for your child is one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever make.
My name is Mrs. Barlow, and that’s exactly why I opened A Mother’s Prayer Academy, a licensed, in-home daycare right here on the Southwest side of Fort Worth. I was inspired to open a daycare that would truly answer the prayers of moms to find a loving place for their children to flourish. I have a true passion for children.
I know some parents may feel a little unsure about in-home daycare, so let me share why so many families actually prefer it:
✨ Low child-to-teacher ratiosYour child isn’t just a number in a classroom. With a smaller group, I’m able to truly see each child, their needs, their personality, and their learning style.
✨ More one-on-one attentionWhether it’s learning, emotional support, or just needing a little extra encouragement, your child gets individualized care every single day.
✨ Stronger bonds & a family-like environmentChildren thrive where they feel safe and loved. In a smaller setting, they build trust, confidence, and meaningful connections.
✨ Better learning outcomesKids often learn faster and more comfortably in calm, nurturing environments without the overwhelm of large groups.
✨ Consistency & genuine careI don’t just “watch” children and I’m definitely not a “babysitter”. I care for them deeply. I have over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education with references. My families will tell you, the love is real. Some of my little ones don’t want to leave when it’s time to go home because we’ve built that level of trust and connection.
I take pride in providing a safe, structured, and loving space where your child can grow, learn, and feel at home 🤍
If you’re still searching, I invite you to:✔️ Check out my 5⭐️ Google reviews✔️ Hear directly from parents who trust me with their little ones✔️ Schedule a tour and come see the difference for yourself
I also offer a 2 week trial period.
You deserve peace of mind, and your child deserves personalized, loving care.
I would truly love to welcome you into our daycare family 💕

So often in early childhood we talk about “planting seeds” in children’s lives. Yet given the pace in which children grow and develop, so many seeds we plant won’t sprout until after they have left our classrooms.
The truth is, one of the reasons our work feels so heavy isn’t just the workload, the ratios or the expectations. It’s the not knowing the true impact we have. It’s how we pour our energy into children every day by holding space, building trust, supporting regulation, creating moments of joy and safety and then they leave.
Whilst sometimes we see clear impact of our work so often we don’t always get to see who they become and how we helped build the human they evolve into. We don’t always get to see how those seeds actually take root.
We’re told to have faith in our work and we do when we have capacity. But when we’re exhausted, stretched and questioning our impact, faith can feel like a very intangible thing to hold onto.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could fast-forward sometimes? Or have children we once taught come back and say, “Hey! You made a difference.”
Because that’s the heart of it, isn’t it?
Our job satisfaction doesn’t come from checklists or documentation. It comes from knowing we mattered and that we made a difference. Our hard work meant something to someone.
Let this be a reminder for all early childhood educators:
Hold onto the small moments. Remind each other of the value in what we do. Speak up about the impact of early childhood educators in our communities.
Just because we don’t see the impact every day, doesn’t mean we didn’t make any at all.
