Have you heard the saying "Design a life you don't need to take a vacation from"?
That's what we've done.
Don't get me wrong. I still need the occasional vacation but I took some time to dream up the perfect life, then I let the force help me create it.
We live in an amazing community. The pool is like a resort! Seriously, I feel like I need to dress up to attend 😂
It required a great of inner work for me to get here.
I had to deal with some deep-seated limiting beliefs about money.
You see,, I was raised by a single mom in "duplex-city" of Bradenton, FL. We were blessed to be provided low income housing. It was a rough neighborhood. Boy do I have tales to tell. Maybe someday...
One thing my childhood growing up poor did give to me was strong desire for better! A better life. Better circumstances. Better choices.
Well, I made plenty of bad choices too. Some of them systemic to girls raised by a single mother in proverty.
Thank God my mom refused to become dependent on the system!
She taught us strong work ethic and passed on the knowledge that hard work is worth it. We had a desire to rise above.
We demanded better of ourselves!
I have 6 brothers and sisters and a praying mamma. We are blessed!
