Such a beautiful reception last night with a lovely turnout. Thank you to everyone who came and supported my art. Looking forward to another lovely day today. 🎨
Just started exploring silk art in 2021 using French dyes. It’s a long process with hours of work and steaming, loving the feel of silk and the vibrant colors.
Enjoy $65 and up

The Journey Oils - 24 X 36
Began in 2008 during a time of uncertainty, this painting was first shaped with the help of my son, Dilan. This rising structure became metaphor for a mother's path one marked by struggle, and the quiet determination to lift her children forward. years later, as both my sons found their way and became the human beings I had hoped they would be, the journey was completed in 2026. They now stand on their own pedestals. The white dove, a symbol of peace release and a mother's freedom in knowing her work is done.

Girihandu seya - Sri Lanka Watercolor -lThis painting was born from an experience Thiriyaya, Sri Lanka, traditionally dated to 543 BCE. Standing among its ruins, I felt a presence unlike any I have known. A neem tree there, known for bitterness,, tasted sweet. I do not explain this - I honor it. This work carries that feeling of silence devotion, and mystery.

Spent this Valentine’s Day in a beautiful gathering of loving hearts, welcoming the Peace Walk monks with thousands who believe in peace, compassion, and true love for all ❤️
Letting Go - Oils - 30X50
This deeply personal painting reflects a mother’s quiet journey of love, trust, and release.
Inspired by my son’s path toward independence, it speaks to the tender strength it takes to step back and allow our children to grow into their own lives.
Rooted in love, yet reaching toward freedom, Letting Go is a gentle reminder that true care sometimes means loosening our hold — trusting that the same love which nurtured them will continue to guide them forward.
My six-year-old artist student✨
I don’t teach children how to paint—I watch, I step back, and I honor their own way of seeing.
This is what happens when creativity is trusted.

A Prayer That Walks
I once prayed quietly for the world
for peace, compassion,
and kindness toward all beings.
Some called me a dreamer.
Then I saw Buddhist monks walking
step by step from Fort Worth - Texas
to Washington, D.C.,
carrying peace and compassion.
Each morning I watch people gather,
hearts opening,
hope moving.
Change begins one step at a time.
When love becomes our religion,
peace becomes possible.
This is my prayer 🌎
May all beings live peacefully.
May we choose kindness.

In this painting, I explore the deep interconnection between humans and nature. The continuous lines move seamlessly from one form to another, symbolizing the unity that exists among all living things. My intention is to remind the viewer that we share one life-force that harmony with nature is not a choice, but a way of being. We are threads of the same design, living and breathing together in the rhythm of this world.
