Akin Families,

We are starting lessons on the "Protect Yourself Rules" in our guidance lessons this week. We will watch videos focusing on the topics below, to include safe and unsafe touches, and how to handle these situations. You can find the videos we will be watching at www.fightchildabuse.org. (Choose the K-3 or 4-6 versions). We will also discuss "trusted adults" and who those are at home and at school. Our ultimate goal is to help children be aware and safe. I hope this will give you an opportunity for reassuring conversations and a positive understanding of your family's safety expectations. 💚🐸💚
