These infirmities are (ALL the can’t help it’s), and He gives us situations to strengthen our ability to be self-controlled. Putting away childish things, and youthful lusts. These impulsive behaviors ruin our character and make us untrustworthy in the eyes of others, and can disqualify us for promotion. Subduing our flesh MATURES us. I wrote The Dangers of S*xual Immorality three yrs ago. And I have had countless conversations since then on the topic, however one subject silently kills more relationships and that’s Po*******hy. Po*******hy robs relationships and marriages of trust and commitment, and leaves one partner fighting against the realm of fantasy for the heart of their beloved. Many fight a losing battle of trying to get their loved one to understand how their actions are causing them feelings of worthlessness, low self esteem, and rejection; making them feel as if they’re not enough. This makes people question and measure themselves against the “desired” as to why they don’t measure up. When the true issue is that Lust is an insatiable bottomless pit that is never satisfied. And will ask things of a person that is below moral human standards just to be sexually satisfied. The good news is, freedom is available!!!! The Lord STILL sets free!!!! Jesus is the answer.
