You know what I’ve learned? Preparation doesn’t make things perfect — it makes you feel ready.
And when it comes to your child’s IEP… that matters.
Because IEP meetings shouldn’t catch you off guard.
If you’re tired of last-minute Googling, DMing friends, and wondering what to even say —
this is your sign to shift from overwhelmed to organized.
That’s why I created Powerful Preparation — a free guide to help you feel clear, calm, and confident before any school or IEP meeting.
You’ll get:
• A timeline of what to do and when
• A space to organize your notes and priorities
• Reflection prompts to get clear on what matters most to your family
Because when you feel prepared, you advocate differently.

School’s been in for a couple of weeks now, long enough to notice what’s clicking and what still feels unclear.
If you’ve found yourself wondering when services actually happen, waiting to hear about accommodations, or trying to draft the “perfect” email to the teacher… you’re not alone.
That’s why I created Powerful Preparation — and it drops tomorrow. When you join my email list, you’ll be the first to get it delivered straight to your inbox.
This free guide will help you:
🖤Get clear on all your IEP dates and deadlines
🖤Map out a simple plan for your next IEP or school meeting
🖤Walk in with calm, confidence, and clarity
Preparation doesn’t mean things will always run perfectly but it does mean you’ll be ready to handle whatever comes your way. And once you’re prepared, you stop playing catch-up and start leading with intention.

Did you catch Chance the Rapper on Angela Yee’s show? He shared that he had an IEP i n school. And look at him now — an award-winning rapper, creative, and entrepreneur.
Being successful as a rapper, or in any profession, takes far more than grades. You need:
Confidence and communication
Creativity and innovation
Discipline and perseverance
Resilience in the face of setbacks
These same traits show up in doctors, teachers, engineers, business owners, and leaders across every industry.
So while right now may feel daunting, especially if your child has a learning disability, remember: we are raising children who will grow into adults with unique gifts this world needs.
