Motivation Conversations

So I talked to some members of my circle and asked them a few Questions. Here is how it went:

Me: So what’s going on with business?

Them: Ugh, I just have a lot going on but imma pick it back up one day. (Me:🤔hmmm)
Others: I want to do this and that, I just need to sit, write it out and do it. (Me:Ok, good)

Me: What’s holding y’all back?
Them: These kids!! ( Me:😂 Chile tell me about it but that’s no excuse lol)
Others: I’m holding myself back! I’m worried about being accepted and valued. (Me: that’s some real s**t)

💣 then it hit me! Coach Mariah you need to talk about this!!

As a full-time life coach, specializing in working with educators, parents, and youth. I feel privileged to be a part of this empowering movement with GIC&E LOVES, and I am grateful for the front-row seats to witness positive transformations in people's lives.

Our CEO Lakendra Smalley of will be speaking to seniors about Life After High School tomorrow along side one of my other favorite Coaches Doris Morehead-Jones, head of Restorative Practice at Bowie High School. She has helped GIC&E LOVES find their way into AISD where we help youth reach their full potential and live their best lives by identify their strengths, overcome challenges, and develop the skills they need to thrive.

I’m excited to witness and see Actor Jason Mitchell now resides in Dallas.He is the founder of The DreamSeeker Foundation and an actor whose credits include Straight Outta Compton, Mudbound, Superfly, The Mustang, Detroit, and Kong: Skull Island, among others. He has now joined GIC&E Loves mental health company, helping to empower our youth.

As women, we often juggle multiple responsibilities and face unique challenges. Practicing mindfulness can be a powerful tool to support our well-being in the midst of it all.
Mindfulness is about being present in the moment, without judgment. It allows us to cultivate self-awareness, reduce stress, and tap into our inner strength. It's a reminder to prioritize self-care and self-compassion.
Here are some simple ways you can bring mindfulness into your daily life:
1️⃣ Take deep breaths: Pause, take a few deep breaths, and allow yourself to fully experience the sensation of each breath.
2️⃣ Practice self-compassion: Be kind to yourself, especially during challenging times. Treat yourself with the same love and understanding that you would offer to a dear friend.
