There’s an assumption happening right now that doesn’t make sense and I see it daily.

Organizations are rolling out AI tools and expecting people to just “figure it out”

No training No structure No real examples of how to actually use it in the flow of work. Just access.

Then leaders wonder why adoption is inconsistent, or why the output isn’t what they expected?

The issue isn’t the tool, it’s the lack of instruction. People don’t need more prompts, they need to be shown how to think with AI.

What does that look like? How do you work through a problem with AI? How do you refine and improve the output?

That’s the piece a lot of organizations are missing.

This is an example from one of our workshop materials. A real-world scenario, worked step by step, showing not just what AI can do… but how to work with it.

That’s the gap… and it’s the difference between giving your people AI… and actually enabling them to use it.

Ever been in that meeting?

“Leadership wants us using AI… so how is everyone using it in your day-to-day role?”

And the room goes quiet. A few people nod. Someone throws out, “I use it for emails sometimes.” And everyone else is thinking the same thing: “…I probably should have a better answer than that.”

Here’s the truth: AI didn’t grow up with most of us. It showed up after the degree. After the career started. After we already got good at what we do. And now—suddenly—we’re expected to use it to get even better.

That’s backwards.

You can’t use something effectively if you don’t understand how it actually works. So what happens? You try it. The output is… decent. Interesting. Maybe even helpful. But not quite right. Not something you can actually use.

And then you hear about all these people “crushing it” with AI… So what’s the difference?

It’s not intelligence. It’s not experience. It’s that they’ve learned how to think with it.

That’s where we come in.

The Structured Thinking System wasn’t built for IT professionals. It wasn’t built for coders. It was built for everyone else. Professionals who already know their job—but need a better way to apply AI to it.

We take what feels complex and turn it into something simple, repeatable, and usable:

Dump it. Loop it. Do it.

That’s how you go from: “I’ve tried AI…” to “I use AI every day to solve real problems.”

If your team is still sitting in that meeting… without a real answer… it might be time to give them one.

The Structured Thinking System is here ready to help your team actually us AI, not just talk about it.

The Structured Thinking Toolkit isn't just about prompts- although you will find them in the toolkit- it's about learning how to think with AI. You learn how AI operates, learn to turn messy ideas into usable outputs, build your own prompts instead of relying on templates, and discover a reusable system with ANY AI tool. This is the toolkit for the rest of us. Get your copy today: https://www.structuredthinking.co/services-7

AI Won't Replace You, But You Must Adapt | Joseph O. posted on the topic | LinkedIn Most people are worried that AI is going to replace them. That’s not new. Michelangelo's Secret: Removing What Doesn't Matter with AI | Joseph O. posted on the topic | LinkedIn I’ve heard that when Michelangelo was asked how he created David, he said he simply removed everything that wasn’t David. As someone who is not the most artistic individual, I find that comment fascinating. The masterpiece wasn’t created—it was revealed by stripping away what didn’t belong...
