Graduation will be held in tiger stadium. There is still a chance of rain so bring towels/blankets to wipe seats. Parking will be available at the high school, and new elementary front and back. Do not park in the middle school parking lot bc fireworks are being set up there. See you all tonight!

After reviewing the weather for this evening, the plan is to hold graduation outside in Tiger Stadium. There is still a chance of rain, so please bring a towel/blanket to wipe seats and an umbrella. Parking will be available at BRHS and at the new elementary, in front and back. Please do not park in the MS parking lot due to the setup for fireworks. We are ready to celebrate our seniors!

Just in case you missed this info. - Seniors received their 8 tickets today at school.

This is a reminder that the senior breakfast is this Friday, the 21st. The seniors will be arriving at 7:55 at the admin building.

We need some more people to bring bacon and/or sausage. We're thinking we'll need 10-15 pounds, so if a few people could comment below willing to bring cooked bacon/sausage along with their item(s), that would be awesome.

Please be sure that all food is cooked prior to bringing it to the admin building as there isn't a way to cook there currently.

Due to weather possibly being a problem on Monday (May 17th), the day of our senior trip, and considering that the trip is an outside, lake event, we held a meeting with the seniors today to discuss an alternate senior trip.

The seniors voted unanimously to change our trip from Lake Texoma Destinations to Shenanigans in Rockwall, TX. The students will have free all-day bowling, arcade games, virtual reality, bumper cars, and laser tag. They will also be provided lunch.

We will be leaving the school at 9:45AM sharp. Students not attending the trip are expected to attend school, or they will receive an unexcused absence.

We appreciate your understanding and your children's understanding. They have been very positive and flexible despite this change in plans.

Y'all are awesome! We have all of the items requested for senior breakfast accounted for by volunteers. THANK YOU! I have posted the picture of who is bringing what. We will see you all at 7:55 AM on May 21st!

Please don't forget that the CAP AND GOWN GROUP PICTURE is THIS WEDNESDAY, April 21st - send your senior to school ready for pictures, with their cap and gown on a hanger and the shoes/clothes they'll be wearing to graduation or something similar.

April 21, 2021: Group Cap & Gown Pictures @ High School Cafeteria (students should either come dressed in what they’ll be wearing to graduation or something similar – girls should wear the shoes they plan on wearing, guys must wear a shirt and tie).

May 7, 2021: Graduation cap designs due to Mr. Hamilton for approval

May 11, 2021: Baby/Memory pictures for senior slideshow at Senior Awards Night due to Mrs. Ray ([email protected])

May 14, 2021: Graduation checklists and contracts due to Mrs. Ray by 3:55pm

May 16, 2021: Baccalaureate @ FUMC Blue Ridge 2pm (optional event – wear cap & gown)

May 17, 2021: Senior Trip to Texoma Lake in Pottsboro (leaving @ 7:45am SHARP – 4pm)

May 18, 2021: Senior Awards Night 6-8pm @ BRHS Gymnasium

May 21, 2021: 7:55am – Senior Breakfast; 9am – Graduation practice on the field; 8pm – Graduation!!! (Seniors need to be there by 7:00pm)

UPDATE - we do not need cups, cutlery, plates, or drinks anymore! I’ll share a spreadsheet photo of what everyone is bringing when more people sign up for items!

Graduation is fast approaching, which means that senior breakfast is right around the corner as well!

I need some parents to volunteer to make breakfast food, provide drinks, paper plates/cups, etc.

Senior breakfast will be at the Admin building on May 21 at 7:55 AM.

There are 61 seniors we will be feeding!

Hey parents! Here is some important information that you need to know:

We will be passing out cap and gowns TODAY during A-Lunch! DO NOT iron your cap and gown. When you get your cap and gown home today, you need to take it out of its package and hang it up so that the wrinkles can be mostly worked out by April 21 (pictures). I will have a steamer at pictures in case the wrinkles are still bad on that day. You can also take it to a professional cleaner, but again, do not iron it because it will melt.

Your student will also receive a cap and gown picture order form if you want a copy of these photographs.

We will be having a senior meeting on April 15, during 2nd period to discuss check-out lists, graduation, senior trip, etc. If you have any questions, we will be able to answer them all at once then.

The deadline for senior ad purchases has been extended to the 31st of March due to the school closure last week. This gives you one more month to purchase your senior ads!
Here are the steps to order your senior ad:
