From little Owls to graduating Eagles, every senior pictured here attended Inspired Vision Elementary — with some being part of the Inspired Vision family since Pre-K!

So, a playground visit was definitely required!

🎓 Senior Elementary Walk 🎓

Our Inspired Vision Secondary seniors returned to the hallways and classrooms of Inspired Vision Elementary where many of their educational journeys first began. While there they had the opportunity to inspire the next generation of Eagles. From speaking with 6th graders to reading with 3rd & 4th grade students, the visit was a reminder of how far they’ve come — and all that’s ahead!

Friendly reminder that IVS will conduct pre-participation physicals on Thursday, May 21st.

Open to all current and incoming IVS student-athletes.

In observance of Memorial Day, all A+ Charter Schools campuses and district offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 26.

👏 Congratulations to Coach LaQuita McGowan — April Coach of the Month!

Coach L. McGowan-Smith proudly serves as the middle school volleyball and soccer coach at Inspired Vision Secondary. Athletics have played a significant role in Coach McGowan-Smith’s life from a young age and continue to inspire the way students are taught, coached, and mentored today. Through sports, valuable lessons such as discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and commitment were developed—qualities that are now instilled in student-athletes both on and off the court and field.

Coaching provides the opportunity to combine a passion for athletics with a passion for developing young people. Coach McGowan-Smith is committed to creating a positive, encouraging, and supportive environment where student-athletes are challenged to reach their full potential while building confidence, character, and resilience. Sportsmanship, respect, accountability, and consistent effort are emphasized as essential components of both athletic and personal success.

Inspired Vision Secondary is excited to have Coach McGowan-Smith leading the middle school volleyball and soccer programs and looks forward to a season filled with growth, learning, teamwork, and shared success.

📢 Reminder for A+ Charter Schools Families!

There will be no school for students on Friday, May 15 and Friday, May 22 due to Staff Professional Development Days.

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Inspired Vision Academy Secondary Principal, Mr. Peña greeted mothers at morning drop off with roses!

What a sweet gesture from Mr. Peña to help make our IVS moms feel extra special this morning!
