The BEST advice for creating dialogue is the following:
1. Don't be afraid to use slang. Make the conversation realistic, not forced.
2. Instead of saying "she's sad," show it by having her signing "The One I GaveMy Heart To" by Aaliyah!
3. Use punctuation like commas, semicolons, and dashes.
4. Use, but don't abuse "she said", "he asked", etc. Show what the character is doing as they speak.
5. Please don't give your character a speech or too long conversations
6. Read it aloud yourself. Have your friends read it to make sure it sounds natural.

5 ways to create a plot FAST!
1. What is your story about? and what message do you want to portray to your readers?
2. What dramatic event, mystery, or captivating character captures your readers' attention from the start and makes them want to keep reading?
3. Include an introduction, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.
4. Don't lose your readers attention without conflict. What obstacles will your characters face and how will they overcome them?
5. Your characters should be well-developed and realistic, with unique personalities, backgrounds, and motivations. They should have clear goals and desires that drive their actions throughout the story.
6. Make your setting come alive by using words and phrases to create vivid and detailed images in the reader's mind. Are you appealing to the readers senses?
7. Are all plot points resolved so that your readers feel satisfied with the outcome?

5 Common Mistakes Aspiring Authors Make
1. No Works
You want the title without the work.
2. Too Confident
Oddly, most sources say the writer is too confident, but I don't believe that. Your story is the best that you can do in that moment... and that is fine. You are still amazing and there is always room to grow and learn.
3. Too Afraid To Create
Push out as many stories as you can (short story challenges, poetry, songwriting... embrace your creativity and keep your skills sharp)
4. Want Microwave Results
I get it. We're all guilty of this at one time or another. I'm 5 years in and I am still not where I want to be due to the previous mistakes. You could do it in more or less time. In the meantime, though, have fun with the process! 💖✨️✍️🏿
5. Confuse Passion With Discipline
Discipline is the force that drives you when motivation is nowhere to be found

Be sure your readers hear the character and not the author explaining to them what is going on. How?
1. Use body language
2. Get in tune with the senses
Example,
Instead of the following:
Charisma was so scared when Malcom popped out the bushes to hug her.
Try the following:
Charisma's heart raced as muscular arms wrapped around her shoulders from out of the bushes.
"Malcom!", her body shivered. "Are you trying to give me a heart attack?"
