May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and at this month’s Ladies Affair Night, we had terrific speakers and resources on the subject. I was honored to be a speaker, and you know it’s God when you all show up with a message from the Lord that beautifully flows together. ❤️🔥🫶🏼None of us compared notes.

Thanks , for gathering us all together and hosting our time together. I’m thankful there are fantastic, Godly women providing beneficial resources in our local area. Women of faith making an impact and watching God move on the other side of obedience as we step out!

I love giving testimonies of how God works everything for our good. God wastes nothing, and he can 828 anything. He works ALL THINGS for our good. Don’t lose hope. Reach out when you need help. Community is so important. Isolation does not breed healing.

You know that saying about “people will forget what you say, but they won't forget how you made them feel?”

At tonight's reunion, I got to see several past teammates I hadn't seen in years, and it was interesting listening to the stories they remembered. As an , the role of a master generalist goes beyond the walls of your job description, and I was humbled by the kind words and memories people shared.

As an , you get to hold space for people and add value by solving big problems, and sometimes that's heavy, but when you are in it, you make it work. Looking back, I'm glad I prioritized the people I served rather than just getting the job done. I learned a long time ago that people aren't processes. There is a time and a place for processes, but if we forget about the people... All is lost.

My challenge to you is even in the midst of the crazy, take time for the people. Sew in what you want to reap. There will always be work to get done, but leaders have people's hearts, and we, as admins, are stewards of people's hearts. Let's be good ones!
