A great program below for active and associate members wanting to attend natcon!

Are you planning to attend National Convention and interested in having us pay your registration? Then tell us your story!

Each biennium, the National Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi opens National Convention with a keynote address by a brother of our fraternity to all brothers assembled. The message sets the tone for our week of fellowship, musicianship, leadership, and brotherhood. This year, we want to hear the inspiring story of how you used the mission, vision, and values of the fraternity to navigate one of the most difficult times in our history. The active or associate member selected to deliver the keynote address will be showcased during the opening of National Convention, and have their registration paid for by the National Chapter!

Details are available at https://natcon.kkytbsonline.com/kkpsi-2021-keynote/. Submit by June 1, 2021.

Contact National Vice President for Programs Mike Napolitano at [email protected] with any questions.

While the pandemic has robbed us of many things, I am glad that I have been able to spend the last few weeks listening to the accomplishments, struggles, and dreams from the Northeast, North Central, Southeast, Soutwest, and Western districts.

Although the Southwest is home, I have been able to learn more about the issues facing our chapters across the country, listen to the goals of the incoming district officers, and get a glimpse at fraternal life in districts I have never been able to attend due to distance and finances.

As we head into the end of the semester and convention season use this "convention high" to lay the groundwork for the future - create transition plans, create goals for the next year, and set up chapter bonding methods for the summer months. Ensure that when we return in the Fall, you return stronger and ready to work. And as always continue to strive for the highest!

Seeing this from our organization makes my heart happy. Make sure to reach out to a two-spirit, transgender, or non-binary brother or sister today and tell them how much they mean to you.

It has been a lovely day listening to the work of our brothers in the Midwest and Southeast districts.

Today Brother Bang Co mentioned the following quote in his workshop and it truly encapsulates the past year for our organization. These brothers despite the current pandemic and virtual gatherings, have been working hard to adapt to change at every turn. You are the future of our great organization and im so proud of what you've overcome. I hope in the next bienniem we can strive higher than before. 💙🤍💙

As a fell Southwesterner I'm so excited to welcome a chapter at the University of North Texas. As a Texan I've been highly aware of the caliber of music that comes from the Green Brigade and Mean Green Music department! This step is such a positive thing for our organization and our presence within the Texas Band world.

I also want to welcome back the Theta Chi chapter at Livingstone College in the SED and our new colony at Shepard University in the NED! Welcome to the Brotherhood. 😃

Every donation counts, help us support a Kappa Kappa Psi chapter in need!

SWDAA is hosting a fundraiser to help the Iota Upsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi this semester. The chapter and McNeese State University were ravaged by hurricanes in August, and the university has sustained millions in damages. Classes were moved remotely not by choice, and students housed on campus were moved to other universities in Louisiana who had room. Donations can be made at: tinyurl.com/SWDAARelief.

Due to the finacial situation on their campus, the chapter is without an operating budget for the academic year, and has not met since COVID began in March. Our goal is to at minimum cover the expenses for a premium zoom account so their members can gather together despite dealing with COVID, virtual classes, and new distance barriers.

Every donation counts, and goes straight to the brothers of Iota Upsilon. SWDAA will be matching the donation total up to $200 dollars!

Today we celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King embodied many of our Fraternal values, and his message remains as important and timely today as it was during his lifetime. We hope that the Brothers of Kappa Kappa Psi will honor Dr. King’s legacy through service, love, and unwavering support for one another.
