We are so excited to welcome our GrandFriends to campus September 14–17! Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other special people your child considers family are invited to join us for lunch and visit the Book Fair. 📚❤️

Each class has an assigned day, so please check the schedule carefully before making plans.

🍕🎮 HUGE shoutout to Sam's Club #8248 for helping us Level Up on Bring Your Supplies Night!

They provided pizza for our staff, and it was exactly what we needed during a busy evening of welcoming our Marvin families back to campus. And yes, the pizza was delicious. 😋

We are so thankful for their support, generosity, and partnership with Marvin Biomedical Academy. Nights like this take a lot of people working together, and we truly appreciate Sam’s Club #8248 for showing up for our staff and our school.

❤️🎮 Some people just have a way of making a place feel special, and Ami Blevins Trull is one of those people.

A HUGE shoutout to Ami from our Waxahachie ISD Public Relations team for helping make Marvin’s front office feel so cozy, welcoming, and full of HEART. She has such a gift for taking a space and making it feel warm, inviting, and like home.

Ami is always willing to jump in, help, create, fix, decorate, and somehow make everything better in the process. We absolutely LOVE her at Marvin, and we are so thankful she shares her time and talents with us.

Seriously, Ami is the best. The BEST. ❤️

🥤❤️ A little power-up from last week!

Huge shoutout to Waxahachie Sonic for helping us treat our Marvin staff to some ice-cold drinks last week. Sometimes a Diet Coke, Dr Pepper, or sweet tea is exactly the extra life you need to make it through the day. 😂

We are so thankful for the way Sonic continues to support Marvin Biomedical Academy and help us show some love to the people who give their HEART to our students every single day.

Two incredible members of Team Marvin earned some serious XP this month! 🏆

🍎 Mrs. Morley Boutwell | Teacher of the Month
Mrs. Boutwell shows HEART every single day. She is always willing to jump in, help wherever she is needed, and support the people around her. She brings such a positive spirit to Marvin, and we are so lucky to have her on our team!

⭐ Mrs. Jennifer Jordan | Support Staff of the Month
Mrs. Jordan is one of those people who is ALWAYS helping. She takes care of students, families, staff, and about a million things behind the scenes, usually before anyone even has to ask. She shows Marvin HEART in the way she serves others every single day.

Both of these ladies make Marvin better simply by being part of our team. They Have Courage, Express Gratitude, Act with Compassion, Respect themselves and others, and Try Their Best. ❤️

📣 Reminder, Marvin families!

Marvin will be a CLOSED CAMPUS tomorrow and Thursday due to MAP testing. ❤️

Our students have been working hard, and we want to give them a quiet, focused testing environment so they can show what they know! Please help us by making sure students arrive on time, get a good night’s sleep, and come ready to do their best.

Today’s Rock Paper Scissors competition was serious business, and we officially have our Marvin champs!

🏆 Student Champion: McKenzie, 5th Grade
🏆 Staff Champion: Ms. Morgan

Best two out of three. Brackets on the line. No pressure. 😂

But we’re not done yet…

Tomorrow, McKenzie and Ms. Morgan will go head-to-head LIVE on the announcements to determine the OVERALL MARVIN ROCK PAPER SCISSORS CHAMPION! 👀🏆

Our Pac-Man crew understood the assignment. 😂 The hair. The shades. The f***y packs. Pac-Man himself. Absolutely ridiculous in the very best way.

After the votes were counted, First Grade is officially the winner of our 2nd Annual Team Cringe Picture Contest! 👻🟡

Thank you to everyone who voted and to ALL of our Marvin teams for fully committing to the cringe. Y’all made this one way too much fun.
