Hello, I am Mrs. Esmy. I am a reading tutor who provides Convenient, Consistent, and Customized services, so your child can grow into an independent reader. My greatest passion is teaching early elementary students to read and providing reading intervention for upper elementary students. I believe sometimes students need more time to blossom into independent readers. Nothing brings me more joy than to see a student’s confidence shoot up as he or she gains the strategies necessary to tackle the reading areas that once paralyzed them.

TWO DECADES OF EXPERIENCE

Along with homeschooling my three sons for more than two decades, I have dedicated myself to teaching all things reading: reading intervention, SAT Reading, STAAR Test Reading Prep, and ESL. In the last three years, I have had a growing demand for reading intervention, and I am having great success in coaching students into confident, independent readers.
