Life lately🏈🏈 Friday I wrapped up my very 1st szn as a collegiate coach, finished the season way better than we started 👏🏾 Saturday I travelled with my high school club team to the Carolina regional tournament. We came up short & didn’t punch our ticket to the NFL flag championships 😩 although the team was plagued by injuries…the heart , grit & determination were very present! Success isn’t linear & we must stay diligent. I’m so proud of how far they’ve come in the past 7 months. We will continue to grow as a team & keep preparing for the pressure. Losses in life only mean you are a step closer to your WINS

4/17 what an historic day! I had the chance to witness THE Destiny Blunt sign her letter of intent to Texas Wesleyan University! This young lady has been a tremendous blessing to all those around her! An athlete her entire life, she has dedicated her life to excel in athletics & academics! Varsity track & varsity basketball 4 years, last 3 years , currently holds the record for most block in a single season & for blocks overall. A honor roll student 4 years, an upstanding citizen & a positive impact in her community, Destiny Blunt is a force to be reckoned with. And this moment will go down in history as she receives an athletic scholarship to play flag football at the collegiate level. Humble, grateful, low key, drama free, hard worker, infectious smile & friendly personality, it’s hard not to love her. She is a champion IRL! AKA MEGATRON or The Silent Assassin. This generational talent is hard to ignore & hard to forget. So beyond blessed to be on this journey with her as she pivots from the hardwood to the football field. I know she will have a profound impact on all those around her, even as she continues to writes her own destiny. From Texas Fury ❤️💙 to Texas Wesleyan, Let’s continue to make history. Love ya! Rams just leveled up in a major way & we are so excited to give Destiny her due flowers for all she has contributed to the community! Then come support our women’s flag football team as they face off against Southwestern at 6pm on our home field💛💙
