A couple of weeks ago for plant week we planted seeds. We've watered them and taken care of them and they are starting to grow! 🌱 I have LOVED watching my students' awe and wonder as they check their plants each day and marvel at new life! Seeing the world through children's eyes is magical! 🥹💖

We've had some rainy 🌧️ and cold 🥶days this spring so that means indoor recess sometimes! But I LOVE how they can still turn it into a fun adventure!!

Farm week last week was a blast! 🐥🐷🐮🦆🌽 We loved learning all about farms while practicing our fine motor skils, pre-reading skills, numeracy skills, and more! Hooray for playful learning!

One thing we really believe here is that preschool should feel ✨magical✨ for our students! We think we do a pretty good job of helping them feel excited and joyful at school! An Easter Egg hunt at preschool was certainly magical! AND they were learning counting, problem solving, memory, gross and fine motor skills, attention and focus, and social skills like learning to help each other out and emotional skills like learning to manage excitement and other feelings. It's amazing how one simple, magical activity can teach so much!

Fine motor fun for the win!! We used pipettes and watered down paint to decorate cut out Easter eggs in my 3 year old class this week. They loved it! And using pipettes are not only fun and interesting, but also help build those handwriting muscles!

I LOVE fun fine motor activites! This one was perfect for my 3 year old class. We decorated Easter egg cutouts by using pipettes and watered down paint. Using the pipettes was not only fun for them but also helped strengthen those future writing muscles!

Happy St. Patrick's Week! 🍀This week included feeding the pot of gold numbers for number recognition, graphing Lucky Charms, color matching, finger painting and so much more! We love playful, hands on learning! 🌈💚

We had so much fun honing our fine motor skills, sorting and matching, learning letter sounds and more this week as we dove deep into our ocean theme! I loved seeing how excited they were to share with me what they already knew about the ocean and how they wanted to learn more. This is was joyful learning looks like!💙
