The Parent Novel Selection Committee will select grade-level novels for the 2026–2027 school year. The novels selected will be used to supplement the adopted curriculum. Selected parents will review a teacher-developed book list and rank titles through a structured process. Participation supports Murphy’s Core Values.

Where: McConnell Middle School Gym Two
Requirements: Must be signed off in Rank One with a green check and have two teacher recommendations.

Tryout packets will be handed out to rising 7th & 8th grade students tomorrow (April 17) during the Tiger Time informational meeting. Packets will be available for rising 6th grade students in the Harbins front office starting Monday. Packets are due on the first day of tryouts.
