Today, our Mustangs had a touchdown-worthy experience! 🏈📚
Houston Texans player Ja’Marcus Ingram visited our campus to read his inspiring book, The Lil’ Player That Could, with our students. Through the story of perseverance, hard work, and believing in yourself, students learned that success on the field — and in life — starts with dedication, heart, and literacy.
Just like in football, strong readers build skills one play at a time. Every page turned is another step toward reaching big dreams! We are so thankful to Ja’Marcus for encouraging our students to keep pushing forward, never give up, and always believe they can do hard things. ❤️💙

Today our Riding Mustangs got a special behind-the-scenes tour with Mrs. Edmonds as they prepare to become our kindergarten leaders next year! 🤠❤️
From exploring the hallways to visiting important places around the school, these future kindergarteners are already showing confidence, curiosity, and so much excitement for what’s ahead. We cannot wait to watch them grow and shine next year at McReavy! ⭐️🐴

Today we’re celebrating National Speech-Language Pathologist Day and giving a huge shoutout to our amazing SLP, Gina Valdez! 💗🧡💛
Thank you, Gina, for the patience, encouragement, and care you pour into our students each and every day. Your work helps our Mustangs find their voices, build confidence, and shine both inside and outside the classroom. We are so grateful for the difference you make! 🗣️✨

This past Saturday, two of our wonderful teachers proudly represented McReavy at the Story Time Tent during the Grand Opening celebration for the new Howard Hughes model homes located just across the street from our school! We love being part of a growing community and appreciate opportunities like these to connect with local families and future Mustangs. Thank you to our amazing teachers, Mrs. Hayes and Mrs. Castillo, for giving their time and sharing their love of literacy with the community! 📚💙

In addition to celebrating the graduation of our very own Dr. Crosby, we were honored to welcome Waller High School’s Class of 2026 to our campus this morning for Senior Walks! 🎓
Our students and staff loved cheering on these graduates as they walked the halls, celebrating all of their hard work and accomplishments. It was such a special opportunity for our Mustangs to see what dedication, perseverance, and success look like firsthand.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026 — we are proud to celebrate you! 🐾 🎓
