District 17-6A baseball players earn 2026 all-district honors June 8, 2026—District 17-6A coaches released the 2026 17-6A All-District baseball team over the weekend following Houston Memorial’s finish as the 6A Division II state runner-up.

District 16-6A softball players earn 2026 all-district honors June 4, 2026—District 16-6A softball coaches recently released the 2026 16-6A All-District Softball Team after Bridgeland High School advanced to the regional semifinals.

Cy-Fair ISD held its annual Student-Athlete Leadership Conference at the Berry Center today with over 100 athletes from all 12 high schools attending!

Attendees competed in team-building activities, heard from several guest speakers ranging from Irving ISD Athletic Director Natasha Stewart to NBA Development Coach Phil Beckner, and implemented plans on how they could apply what they learned at each of their campuses! 🎉

Class of 2026 CFISD graduates earn diplomas June 4, 2026—It was a week of celebration at the Berry Center from May 27-30. A total of 9,468 CFISD students graduated across the graduation ceremonies for CFISD’s 12 high schools.

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD’s office of emergency management, in collaboration with the CFISD police department and local first responders, concluded its full-scale safety exercise on June 3 at Rowe Middle School and the Berry Center.

CFISD is celebrating one of our own! Congratulations to Cy Lakes graduate De’Aaron Fox and the San Antonio Spurs on earning a spot in the NBA Finals.

CFISD is conducting a full-scale safety exercise today, June 3, at Rowe Middle School and the Berry Center. The exercise will test CFISD’s and its public safety partners’ response to an active campus threat, focusing on emergency procedures, interagency coordination and student reunification.

Please expect a significant law enforcement presence at Rowe MS & the Berry Center throughout the day. This presence is for a simulated exercise only; citizens are asked to remain off the property and do not need to alert authorities.

We want to remind the community that our office of emergency management, in collaboration with the CFISD police department and local first responders, will host a full-scale safety exercise tomorrow, June 3, at Rowe Middle School and the Berry Center.
