The flexibility and freedom of homeschool allows children more time to participate in unstructured play!
Studies are showing that unstructured play helps children develop physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively while they learn about the world around them. Benefits of play include increasing social skills, curiosity, confidence, independence, and resiliency. Children learn how to initiate and direct their own activities, measure and take risks, interact with others, and create using intuition and imagination.
