Pace is going to be in contact with all Golden Knights to get a recorded history. Hayley Sonji will be asking everyone to expect a call or email (or Semaphore) from someone in your class that will be interviewing you for this project. Just a heads up and to get everyone ready - a trip back in time. Start thinking about what you remember about your time at Pace, the people who influenced you, the fellow students who made an impression on you, your happy times and maybe even some of your sad times and how Pace came into play with those memories. I think this will be an ongoing project and will be updated regularly going forward. Time to start reflecting. - Chad Cartwright, Class of '67

A place to connect again via Facebook for the Class of 1967. Planning event locations, dates and times and a way to RSVP.
Well, it is that time again. For those who may not have been contacted about the Class of '69 Golden Knight dinner, it will be held at Pace Academy on 18 May 2019 - arrive by 5:30 PM and enjoy a short tour and a glass of wine. Contact Pace at [email protected] and let them know if you are coming. You have until 5 May to make the reservation. It is a fun evening to get reaquainted with your graduating class and a smattering of other graduates as well. The food and wine are excellent and the staff is most gracious. You will be proud of your alma mater.

Nice get together at Pace for the Class of 68 - If you did not make it, maybe next year - Pace welcomes multi-year get togethers and this year's Class of 68 Reunion was coordinated by Jan Anderson Manning and Hayley Shoji (Pace Alumni Office). A nice cocktail hour at the Blue Ridge Grill with open bar compliments of the Pace Alumni Office and then a dinner on Saturday at the Pace Library. One teacher from those years came to both events - Ms. Tremage, one of our French teachers and she really does enjoy her experience with a career teaching at Pace. Coach Chambers sent his regrets, but he no longer drives at night, but if you are ever in Athens, give him a call and he will be glad to see you.
May 19 at 6:30 PM: Hey all - the 50th Reunion for the class of 1968 is just around the corner. Contact Pace directly and give them a heads up if you want to attend the dinner/cocktail hour in their Library - last years was GREAT! Mark the date.
Well - Jan Anderson Manning is coordinating the Class of 68 reunion. If you have not heard from her via the Pace Academy Alumni office, let either Jan or Pace know that you wish to participate in the dinner and social for that event. More later
CLASS of 1968: Okay, now it is the Class of 1968 to weigh in for a ReUnion at the Pace Commencement next year. If you have not made facebook friends with Jan Anderson Manning (Jan Manning on FB), do so ASAP - I think she is going to take on the organization for the event. Like this page and keep up to date.
Save The Date: Alumni Weekend 6-7 October 2017. Contact the Alumni Office to let us know you are coming. [email protected].

Wonderful evening at the Pace Academy Commencement and Alumni dinner/cocktail party after. The Commencement was a pleasant surprise with a full house at Peachtree Presbyterian in Buckhead. We got there and must have found the last parking spot, then made our way inside searched and found seating in the reserved "TRUSTEE" seating area near the stage - one thing we learned early on was to be confident and look the part so no one questioned our right to be there sitting behind Author Blank (who also is not a trustee BTW). The warm up speakers were well spoken members from the Class of 2017 and the warmth that they showed towards their fellow graduates was gratifying, the humor was evident and the pure confidence was beautiful. Lots of talent was evident in this class and I expect to see their names in the future in leadership for our nation. 105 graduates !! Compared to the 18 in our class - Fred Assaf, Head Master, made mention of our class and put it on this current set of graduates to show up in 2067 for their 50th. Pace has had some remarkable featured speakers for the graduations in the past and it is always a surprise for all but a couple in the know. Robert Downey, Jr. was one three years ago - a real surprise and an interesting story as to how he became their speaker that year. Ask me sometime and I will fill you in. This year was no different - Mat Ryan, QB for the Falcom's, who gave a very inspirational talk on what it means to belong to an organization that is as important to him as family, just as the graduates from Pace feel about their fellow classmates and now alumni. We slipped out before all the diplomas were confirred and made our way back to Pace and met with about 20 of our fellow classmates from 1964 to 1969. Even one who attended Pace in the 7th Grade, but did not graduate. Doug Ford and I gave a brief address to those present, enjoyed a great meal and visit with fellow alumni, catching up with each other lives and renewing our friendships. We intend to keep meeting at least once a year, if not more often and Pace has promised to provide space for us and any other alumni to meet for a brunch on a Sunday - more on that later. Look here for information on when. Enjoy the photo's, feel free to tag any and all.
NEW TIME: 5:00 PM for the Commencement and then over to the campus for the cocktails and dinner. Please adjust your schedules.
