Our Story

Crelin Resource Management, LLC (Sherry Crelin) is an educational organization dedicated to providing information and sharing resources that support sustainable and ethical living practices. Chamblee Acre Homestead is designed as an on-going demonstration project to experiment with and implement practices to also support the same.
Sherry Crelin is the owner of CrelinRM and the homestead. Sherry has over 35 years of experience as a post-secondary educator, corporate trainer, and small scale homesteading advocate. She is the author of the children’s educational book - My Chickens Lay Eggs. Her interests in organic gardening, sustainable lifestyle and landscaping and humane education reach back to the 1960s. Sherry’s unique combination of practical hands-on experience and academic background offer a down to earth, yet evidence based perspective on sustainable living practices. Her primary interests include developing the Chamblee Acre homestead, supporting animal rights and protection, writing and developing education material for children and sharing these passions with twelve grandchildren. Sherry is a full time university instructor, a member of the Ladies Homestead Gathering of Dawson/Forsyth and a certified Forsyth County Master Naturalist.
