At Pinecrest, the Baccalaureate Mass is a beautiful part of the Graduation experience, held the evening before Graduation.
During offertory at this year’s Mass, graduates presented fruits of their achievements in the four areas of Integral Formation: intellectual, human, spiritual, apostolic.
To represent Intellectual Formation, students offered textbooks, which helped them grow intellectually and pursue truth.
To represent Human Formation, students offered the Girl’s Soccer State Trophy and the Field Day T-shirt.
To represent Spiritual Formation, students offered a Bible and a rosary.
To represent Apostolic Formation, students offered a Senior Mission Trip shirt and a hammer to represent the work accomplished on their Trip.
Finally, the gifts of bread and wine were offered. They represent prayers, work and sacrifice that each member of the class offers to God as they strive to fulfill His will.
