Memorial Day weekend was spent mostly inside, but we made it as much fun as we could 🙌🥳 Started with a movie 🍿 then had one of our amazing ladies lead a Yoga group on property while she works on her instructor certification! All of this fun was of course, followed up by a cookout and some community time 🌊☀️💙 Congratulations Hannah on your newest accomplishment with becoming a Yoga instructor 👏👏👏

Tacos and S’mores to continue celebrating our ladies and remembering the moments of gratitude after a tough couple of weeks for the recovery community 🩷🪵🔥 #

Today’s on property meeting (SBBC) was led by Bekah for our Tia 🎈🌥️🤍
We spent some time remembering the gratitude she always had for her recovery and the life she had created.
We sent some messages to her from most our ladies letting her know she’s missed.
We will continue to honor her tomorrow night with a “walking taco bar” and S’mores by the 🪵🔥to share even more memories of Tia.
We love you so much and the community is keeping everything perfectly clean just to your liking 🩷🌊

There aren’t enough words to express the impact this wonderful human had on us, and way too many feelings to describe how much Tia means to us.
The entire recovery community lost a true inspiration this past week, and one of the kindest individuals Tides of Change Recovery Residences has ever known.
We were fortunate enough to have Tia with us for right at 14 months and we are beyond grateful for every single memory made with her.
Tia was known to LOVE order and cleanliness and made sure all her roommates followed suit. A few other things Tia took pride in was her new car, leading her apartment (1205), family, community, helping care for clients dogs, and of course her recovery.
She fought very hard to achieve 14 months of continued sobriety and nothing was able to take that accomplishment from her.
Due to a very unfortunate health issue, beyond her control, Tia was admitted to the hospital this week and passed away on Friday 4/10/26 at 4:55pm.
Tia was an absolute leader in our program and her absence will change a lot of people’s lives indefinitely, just as her presence did.
We will keep everyone updated on a date and time for the celebration of life for Tia. Please keep our clients, alumni, staff, family, and friends in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this painful time.
We love you Tia and will miss you so so much 💔

🌊 Last night a few of our house seniors and staff went to dinner to celebrate their personal recovery milestones and to remind them they’re truly valued. These ladies have been at Tides for an amount of time that’s allowed them the opportunity to heal and help others do the same. We do recover and they are proof of it 🙌🎉

This weekend one of our very own, Hannah B. put together some sober fun! A “Sip & Paint” SBBC meeting for the women at Tides of Change Recovery Residences 🎨🎉
Celebrating simple moments, sharing some juice, and embracing creativity is a fun way to enjoy this recovery journey. We’re so grateful to Hannah for bringing everyone together for an afternoon of connection, laughter, and creativity 💗
Afternoons like these remind us that healing can look many different ways 🫶
Recover. Revive. Thrive. 🌊

🌊 There’s something about this time of year…
We step outside, feel the sun on our skin, the light lingers a little longer, laughing becomes easier, and we start remembering that this life is ours to experience. New beginnings are unfolding.
At Tides of Change, recovery truly is about allowing our spirits to thrive. We know this doesn’t happen in isolation, but in the shared moments, supporting one another through it all.
If you’re in this season with us, we see you.
If you’re just beginning, there is a safe space for you at Tides 🫶
Here’s to warmth, to growth, and to continuing to recover, revive, and thrive, with community 🌿☀️
