Project Pony

Our last summer meeting of 2023! Today’s challenge- design your farm property. They were told to include a house, barn, storage, arena and pastures. I loved how creative everyone was.

Then while one group rode the other bathed some dirty ponies and horses. It was a great way to cool off in this heat!

We look forward to planning what’s next for PP this fall!

Due to unforeseen circumstances we will only have PP on Tuesday from 9-12 this week. The advertised Tuesday- Thursday camp has been cancelled.

We had a very fun morning! The kids helped with barn chores, then we did a realistic simulation game called “So you want to buy a horse?”. I can say they all learned how much it takes to care for these animals for a year! After that we spent some time in the saddle!

Farrier Day! And the rain held off so we could ride!

Next Tuesday- 6/6 9am-12pm!

We are welcoming a Equine dentist to the farm to do a demonstration and talk about teeth!

After his visit we plan to make horse popsicles and spend some time in the saddle!
