Dear Parents,

As registration for pre-K soon begins in the public school system, we would like you to give careful consideration for sending your child to Humpty Dumpty for pre-K.

We try to develop a daily routine so that the children get used to school routines, a schedule, becoming independent, and responsible for jobs like hanging up their coat, taking care of their bookbags, daily folders, and lunch boxes. They also clean areas when they’re finished playing, and put away glue, pencils, and crayons when work is completed. We teach following a schedule balancing work and play so they better learn how to follow a schedule and understand what comes next. We begin the day at 8:30am with morning songs, Pledge of Allegiance, weather, name recognition, and much more. After that we do our Bible Story. We then do our academics whether it be learning letters or numbers. Afterwards we have center time, art, play, lunch, and naptime. Our schedule helps to prepare them for the school routine.

We hope this gives you some insight into what you can expect your child to learn in our pre-K classroom here at Humpty Dumpty. We hope you give much consideration in sending your child to Humpty Dumpty.
