Join Us for Helpful Workshops at SMC

We’re excited to invite you to a series of workshops hosted by our counselors, designed to help you with your next steps! Whether you need help petitioning for certificates, transitioning to credit courses, or just want some guidance on what to do next, we’re here to support you.

As the holiday season approaches, Santa Monica College invites you to participate in the first ever Annual Toy Drive.

For Noncredit students, the closest place to drop off your donations would be on the Bundy Campus in front of the Noncredit Initiatives Office.

The age range for donations should be between ages 5-12. We welcome donations of school supplies such as backpacks, lunchboxes, color pencils, and more in addition to toys.

The Santa Monica College has countless resources for students interested in career opportunities.

In the upcoming weeks, the Noncredit Initiatives counselors will be hosting 5 different types of workshops including: Resume writing, Interview Prep, Transition to Credit, Certification Petition, and Personal Finance - Taxes.

On October 8th, the Main Campus' Career Service Center will be hosting the Internship and Job Fair from 11:00am to 1:00pm on the Main Quad

Noncredit Students interested in attending can contact the Noncredit Initiatives office in person in Rm 112 or over the phone at (310) 434-3399 to schedule transportation services from Bundy to the Main Campus on the day of the fair.

The Student Equity Center of Santa Monica College is committed to creating an inclusive community that empowers students to express and celebrate their identities. The SEC consists of four collaborative centers: Gender Equity, Racial Justice, Pride, and Dream Resource Center.

On September 3rd, the SEC will be hosting an open house where students can learn more about the resources and programs the SEC provides.

The event will be hosted in the Student Equity Center located just below the West entrance of the Main Campus Cafeteria.

Santa Monica College offers tuition-free Noncredit Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide pre-certification programs.

To gain acceptance to the CNA program you must first register as a student at SMC through the Noncredit Initiatives Office.
