School Board Meeting
Monday, August 17, 2026, is the next school board meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. at 3063 Fiat Avenue with executive session which is the closed portion of the meeting.

The general session, which is the public portion of the meeting, begins at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room on the second floor which has elevator access. This is the first meeting of the new school year resuming the 6:30 p.m. start time.

There will be a special recognition for various Track and Field teams. We will also be saluting Superintendent Gill during her last school board meeting before her retirement. We will also be welcoming Dr. Jordan as he will transition to leading the meetings tonight as well.

Springfield High School Graduation
Congratulations to the SHS graduates who have accomplished so much this year. Even with all the variables of construction, you remained focused and had fun along the way. I am very proud of the hard work and dedication of these students.

Our graduates from Lanphier High School, Springfield Southeast High School and Springfield High School - Illinois will be walking across the stage on Saturday, June 6th! We are so excited to celebrate all of our students and their accomplishments!

Important info:
- Doors will open 1 hour ahead of start time below for general public
- Graduates need to arrive at least 45 minutes ahead of start time below:
